Windmill Day Nursery is a family run setting and has been providing care and education for children since 2001. We are situated on Church Road opposite Thornton Medical Centre and as our name suggests, we are in close proximity to Thornton’s historic Windmill. Our latest Ofsted report graded us as outstanding again. The quality of our teaching is outstanding and there is excellent quality of practice with children making exceptional progress. We have highly qualified staff members who are experienced and have worked together for a number of years. At Windmill, since May 2020 we have fully embedded a modern “natural curiosity” technique – this involves practitioners creating a culture of awe and fascination in every area.
We have a warm, welcoming environment in which children thrive, surrounded by individual care and attention from our fabulous staff.
